Did you know that millions of Africans lack access to clean water?
Did you know that people living with HIV/AIDS are dependent on clean water to survive?
Did you know that $1 provides one year of clean water for an African?
Did you know that YOU can help save lives?
The
1000 Wells Project is building 1000 wells and clean water projects in
1000 African communities. Businesses, churches, schools, artists and
individuals are collecting funds so they can sponsor the construction
of wells in Africa. In the process, they are learning about how
HIV/AIDS affects African communities, and what it means to partner
humbly with communities to pursue transformation.
Take the challenge. Make water your only beverage for just 2 weeks. For those 2 weeks, take the money you would
usually spend on soda, juice, sports drinks, coffee, milk, etc. and keep it all
together. When the 2 weeks is over, contribute the funds to Blood:Water Mission. Send
your check to the address below:

| XANGA STILL LIVES!
SURPRISE HOME!!!
hahah it was hilarious!!
friday morning i just really wanted to come back home so first i got all the way to katy area and then i had no idea how i was getting home so before my math class started i called connie :D and she drove all the way to katy area and picked me up. i surprised all the kids at the shaved ice get together. and then surprised anny at basic :P
so i just came home from church and went upstair, brushed my teeth and went to sleep last night. and then this
morning i woke up and then no one was awake so i started somewhat
studying for spanish.. then i thought i heard my mom wake up, so i
called her. i still had her thinking i was in san antonio. so i was thinking
what should i do? i really want her to be surprised.. so she was still in her room, so i went downstairs quickly made a sign saying "good morning sunshine" drew a
sun and a flower and then wrote surprise 
my dad comes home from doing his
quiet time at the park and having breakfast at mcdonalds (he has a day
off) he starts using the computer. so i bring all studying
stuff quickly to the dining room and i start hearing my mom about to come out of her room so i quickly go under the table and then i heard her come out her room and she sees the sign (she looks at it eh it kinda
looks like anny’s writing.. but it says surprise..), she takes it off from the wall and then
puts it on the table, goes to the kitchen then i sneak from under the
table into the living room and on to the couch. i continue studying, my mom
starts gardening and then she comes in and out a few times but still
doesn't see me on the couch.. i start watching tv (but I guess my dad
thinks it’s anny) then eventually my dad's done with his computering
and comes out and sees me... what?! wow you're here, and asks how did you get
here 
ok now the mom :] The mom finishes with gardening and she comes into the kitchen.
Just thinks my dad’s watching tv (saved by the bell :P) So I call
up my mom. she's washing something so she couldn't here her phone, so i call again, she sees it's me And she says, “are you that bored? study! (since I called her
earlier in the morning) then I say a bunch of other thinks And I’m about
to burst into laughter cause I’m right in the other room. And then I
keep talking and she still doesn’t know, so my dad starts talking to
her saying lets go eat dim sum and then she’s like what in the world?!
And then she walks in to the living room, sees me, What are you doing
here?!?  And then me and my dad couldn’t stop laughing

| HAHAHAHAHAH i just went to go get the mail and at first i only saw a letter to buy a yearbook but then my mom said i got another one from Kathleen Mayes national american miss growing confidence and on the envelope it says Megan, see what's new for 2007!!
so i open it up:
